Painting is a wonderful recreational art. It is followed by people around the globe. However one needs to note certain precautions and steps while painting. This will give a more beautiful and professional look to it.
- Size of the brush: The size of brushes vary from thin to thick. Thin ones ought to be used for precision and small or corner areas whereas the thick ones should be used for painting a large area.
- Direction of stroke: The stroke can be directed in any way. But care must be taken that the remaining strokes also move in that direction. This gives it an orderly and professional look.
- Outlining: Marker or a pen(preferably black) should be used before the image is painted so that the colors and figures can be easily demarcated. Also after painting, a marker should be run again so as to soften the rough edges and make the picture look complete.
These small steps go a long way in painting an attractive picture.
